Pick Your Own Fruit Farms in Somerset
Where: Keirles Farm, Thurloxton, Nr. Taunton, TA2 8RH

Set in 25 acres on the foothills of the Quantocks, Thurloxton Farm is the ideal place to pick your own in Somerset.
You’re now allowed to eat in the fields!
Entry fee is £3 per person, and you’ll receive a pre-paid punnet that you can fill up and take home, as well as sampling their delicious fruits straight from the bushes.
If you want to pick more, this is paid by the kilo at the end of your visit. They provide punnets, but encourage you to bring your own containers if possible.

Well known locally, North Perrott Fruit Farm offers PYO apples, pears, sweetcorn and pumpkins. This apple Farm has 17 scrumptious varieties to pick between July and October. These include eating, cooking, juicing and cider-making varieties which are available to pick six days a week.

Celebrate ‘Apple Weekend‘ down at North Perrott’s Farm on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October 2024. Made even more famous after featuring on Channel 5’s programme “Somerset – Wonder of the Westcountry”, this celebration it’s a great family day out. There’s apple tasting, tractor rides around the orchards, vintage tractor display and ploughing plus a local craft fair in the Village Hall.
The Farmshop sells their home-grown vegetables, pressed juices, plus produce from neighbouring farmers and producers in the local area.

You’ll find Exmoor Blueberry Farm deep in the heart of the Exmoor Hills surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife. The Kelly Family have planted 12-acres of blueberry plants which are maintained by nature and invite you to pick your own delicious organic blueberries. Bring a basket or bucket and come and fill up on fresh air and frolics and beautiful fruit. The kids will love picking armfuls of delicious organic blueberries fresh from the bush to take home.
As well as blueberry picking, they offer a ‘wild’ camping experience so you can enjoy their corner of the natural world including the most beautiful clear stars! Exmoor was one of the first Dark Skies reserves due to its lack of light pollution, so the stars are truly breathtaking. Stay right next to the blueberry fields high above the valley, with a crackling fire – get back to basics enjoying a stunning view and masses of space to roam.

Pick Your Own Flowers in Somerset
Where: Cowslip Lane, Hewish, North Somerset, BS24 6AH
When: August: Open 10 am – 4 pm every day through the summer.
Spread across the beautiful Somerset countryside surrounding Puxton Park, 200,000 sunflowers have been planted! There’s nothing more summery than a vast expanse of vibrant yellow sunflowers!
No need to pre-book. Free entry. Sunflowers: £2 each. Bring your own scissors/secateurs to cut the flowers.
Don’t forget to pop into Puxton Farm Shop on your way out.

Price: A ‘pick your own sunflowers ticket’ cost £5 per person and include up to 5 sunflower stems. Extra stems £1/each.
Somerset Sunflowers have a staggering 6.5 acre field dedicated to sunflowers. When you arrive at the farm, purchase a ticket from the farm shop. Enjoy a serene walk around the sunflower field and find hidden tracks through the sea of sunflowers to help you select your perfect sunflower stems. It’s a great experience day for all the family.
Afterwards, pop into their farm shop and cafe with indoor and outdoor seating where they serve hot and cold beverages, homemade cakes and light lunches.

Discover this small cut flower farm – full of blooms when the seasons allow – growing all sorts of wonderful flowers, from tulips and sweet peas to the finest roses and dahlias. The owners have been restoring this beautiful Medieval Manor to create a Garden Hamlet to share within the wider town; and a ‘creative quarter’ which would be a ‘mixed use’ site, part studio/workshops/residential/shops.
